Harvest Home Park Road CDBG Funded Project Sealed proposals are requested for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment required to complete the Harvest Home Park Road CDBG Funded Project. Bids must comply with the provided drawings and specifications and be submitted on forms available from Verdantas. Proposals must include the full name of each party involved and a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security in bond form must be from a company licensed in Ohio. Bidders must comply with the Prevailing Wage rates for public improvements as set by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, and the project is governed by the Davis-Bacon Act for federal minimum wage. Contractors are also required to make a good faith effort to achieve 10% Minority Business Enterprise participation and adhere to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, promoting training, employment, and contract opportunities to lower income residents and companies owned by such residents. The City of Cheviot reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all bids.
