Furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the project known as 2024 Street Program (OPWC) Opinion of Probable Construction Cost: $839,842.00 Question Deadline 01/30/2025 Notify the Engineer promptly of any discrepancies in, or omissions from the Contract Documents. The Engineer will issue a clarifying addendum to each person on record as having received a set of Contract Documents The Owner will not be responsible for oral instruction or information. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to bid date cannot be answered. Completion Date: Friday, September 26, 2025 The bidder shall be responsible to check for Addenda and obtain same from online. Documents may be ordered by registering and paying online. Proposals must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the same and all persons interested therein. Each bidder is required to furnish with his proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. When the total overall project exceeds $29,653 all bidders must comply with the Prevailing Wage rates on Public Improvements in Hamilton County and the City of Cheviot, Ohio, as ascertained and determined by the Administrator of the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services (OBES) as provided in Section 4115.05 through 4115.034 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio. It is anticipated that the Prevailing Wage Law will apply to this project. All Contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. "Domestic Steel Use Requirements as Specified in Section 153.011 of the Revised Code Apply to This Project. Copies of Section 153.011 of the Revised Code Can Be Obtained From Any of the Offices of the Department of Administrative Services." Additionally, Contractor compliance with the equal employment requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. The Council of the City of Cheviot, Ohio, reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
