The Project is located at 600 W Junipero St, Santa Barbara and is described as follows: The purpose of this project is to restore approximately 2,800 square feet of the Oak Park Dance Floor space. Scope includes removing and replacing all visible framing including, sheeting, perimeter skirting, benches and handrail/guardrails. Q&A Deadline 01/12/2022 12:00 PM (PST) Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% Liquidated Damages $200 per day Start/Delivery Date City anticipates work will begin on or about second week of February Project Duration The Project must be completed within 45 calendar days from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed License Requirements General B A pre-bid conference will not be held. Contractor to visit site at 600 W. Junipero for the purpose of acquainting all prospective bidders with the Contract Documents and the Worksite. The dance floor is outside. The purpose of this project is to restore approximately 2,800 square feet of the Oak Park Dance Floor space. Scope includes removing and replacing all visible framing including, sheeting, perimeter skirting, benches and handrail/guardrails. Once exposed, supporting lumber will be evaluated for damage, and replaced as needed. Door to storage (at stone wall) will also be removed and replaced in-kind. To aid water run-off, the new dance surface will have a 1% pitch with the ridge running from West to East. All plywood seams and hardware penetrations will be sealed with an epoxy sealer before the entire surface is waterproofed to match existing color. The perimeter of the new floor will include a drip edge to protect the new skirting from water run-off. Benches will be replaced and secured to the perimeter fencing and cantilevered with steel armature to minimize standing water. Dance floor, stair fascia and ramp past and handrails will be replaced in kind. All new wood to be coated with a full body stain to match existing
