The intent and purpose of this request for Bids is to solicit quotations for the City of Santa Barbara, El Estero Water Resource Center (EEWRC) annual supply of Citric Acid 50%, used to clean Ultra Filtration (UF) Membranes to make recycled water. The City is looking for a supplier that can reliably furnish and deliver totes to the EEWRC. The term will be for the remainder of fiscal year 2023, ending June 30, 2023, with an option to renew by mutual consent for an additional 4 years. The City of Santa Barbara reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, or to accept any bid or any part thereof, or to waive any informalities in any bid, deemed to be the best interest of the City of Santa Barbara. The City reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder who has previously failed to perform adequately for the City or any other governmental agency within the prior year. Questions and answers shall be submitted through the City's PlanetBid portal. The City will not be bound by or be responsible for any interpretations or conclusions drawn from this RFB. Bidders shall review any specifications AND report any errors and omissions prior to Q&A deadline. Any questions the City feels are pertinent to all interested bidders will be answered to all participating bidders to this RFB.
