Saving Project...

Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Palestine, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The Palestine Wheatley School District will receive bids on General Contract for Four (4) Dugouts consisting of cmu walls, concrete slab, and metal roofs for the new sports fields at the high school. Bids shall be on a Lump Sum Basis. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by the certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the Palestine Wheatley School District in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed beyond 90 days from the bid opening date. Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work to inform themselves of all local conditions. The time of completion shall be 40 calendar days. Attention of Bidders is directed to Arkansas Statute 71-701 through 71-720 requiring that bidders have an Arkansas Contractor's License. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish proof of registration with the State Department of Finance and Administration in compliance with Act 125 of 1965 prior to engaging in the performance of this Contract. Contractors are cautioned that qualified bids will be subject to rejections. Contractors are specifically advised that any person, firm, or other party to whom it is proposed to award a subcontract under this contract must be acceptable to the Owner.
