The Department Will Receive Sealed Bids for Construction on State Highway in Riverside County Near Moreno Valley From 0.2 Mile North of Alessandro Boulevard Overcrossing to 0.2 Mile South of Eucalyptus Avenue Overcrossing The contractor shall implement the following items of work as first order work activities prior to commencing the work indicated on the contract plans. These work activities shall be show on the Construction CPM Schedule. No work shall proceed until these work items are completed to the satisfaction of the Tribal Monitor and Engineer.
1. Install ESA Fencing.
2. Install storm water BMPs.
3. Construct temporary access road (maintain existing roadway until temporary access road is complete) and staging areas at the Murray Canyon Bridge and Andreas Canyon Bridge Crossings. Submit all questions to dmalcolm@aguacaliente.net, attention: Dan Malcolm, Director of Planning A bid guarantee equivalent to five percent of the bid price. The "bid guarantee" must consist of a firm commitment such as a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument accompanying a bid as assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of the bid, execute such contractual documents as may be required within the time specified. A performance bond on the part of the contractor for 100 percent of the contract price. A "performance bond" is one executed in connection with a contract to secure fulfillment of all the contractor's obligations under such contract. A payment bond on the part of the contractor for 100 percent of the contract price. A "payment bond" is one executed in connection with a contract to assure payment as required by law of all persons supplying labor and material in the execution of the work provided for in the contract. Andreas Canyon Parking Area Culvert Crossing. Initiate construction activities beginning no sooner than July 5, 2022. All items of construction at the Andreas Canyon Parking/Camping Culvert Crossing shall be substantially completed on or before September 29, 2022. These dates shall be identified in the Contractor's CPM Baseline Schedule and subsequent schedule updates.
Last day of construction, 100% substantial completion and acceptance of the work, on or before September 29, 2022. Complete the work, excluding plant establishment work, within 90 working days.
Complete the work, including plant establishment work, within 340 working days.
Complete the plant establishment work within 250 working days.
