Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Elizabethton, Tennessee. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and playground / park / athletic field.

As of August 30, 2023, information regarding the award and award date has not been disclosed. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to summer of 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Plans call for enhanced entrances on both ends of the Covered Bridge and to the park. With more and more attractions planned that are likely to draw larger crowds to the park, a new 60-by-35-foot restroom/pavilion. As of May 9, 2022, the Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Department received a Local Parks and Recreation Fund grant from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. This grant requires a matching 50% grant from the city. Further details regarding design and construction have not been identified.
