Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jupiter, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The nature and scope of this project is: Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform site development for seven (7) water supply well sites, including but not limited to survey, clearing, grubbing, trimming, pruning, grading, earthwork, hauling, legal offsite disposal, construction of shell rock access roads and staging areas, concrete driveway aprons, asphalt driveways, +/- 145 LF 2" water service with meter box., +/- 690 LF 12" HDPE raw watermain and fittings, +/- 370 LF 12" HDPE formation water disposal main and fittings, 6'x6'x6.5' (deep) precast concrete vault with aluminum hatch, +/- 42 LF 24" drainage RCP, +/- 56 LF 12" drainage CMP, precast concrete manhole, road rock and asphalt repairs, mill and overlay, concrete curb restoration, concrete sidewalk restoration, sodding, seed and mulch, and all other work intended and described by the Bidding Documents. The seven well sites are as follows: RO14 located in the SFWMD C-18 Canal right of way and adjacent to the PBC ERM Bluegill Trail, RO15 located at the south end of Jupiter Community Park (JCP) between Island Way and the west end of Church Street, RO16 located at the north end of JCP adjacent to Island Way, SA58 located on the south side of Washington Street near Jupiter Utilities, Parks and Public Works Field Offices, SA59 located on the west side of Island Way south of Rialto, SA60 located in the Rialto development off of Island Way, and SA62 located at the west end of Church Street on the south side of the Church Street extension. All questions concerning the bid shall be directed to Amanda Z. Barnes, P.E. in writing by email (amandab@jupiter.fl.us) or fax 561-747-5634. Questions delivered by email should contain the name of the Project/Bid in the subject heading of the email and be sent with a read receipt to ensure successful receipt of the email by the Town. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Town of Jupiter reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any, and all bids. The Town of Jupiter is an equal opportunity employer Substantial Completion: 140 calendar days from Notice to Proceed Final Completion: 170 calendar days from Notice to Proceed The undersigned, if awarded the contract, agrees to furnish at time of signing the contract, a payment bond and a performance bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract value The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for grassing all areas disturbed by his operations and any other areas on the plans indicated to receive grassing. It is the intent of this specification that damaged areas are to be replaced in kind, with sod to be used for all maintained yard areas. Contractor shall take all steps practical to minimize the area required to be sodded. All grassing shall be in accordance with Section 570-1 through 570-5 of the FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, except as modified herein. he work covered by this section consists of providing all labor, material and equipment, and performing all construction required to install valve replacements, hydrant replacements, DIP, HDPE, or PVC watermain, fittings, valves, water services, water service sleeves and accessories as specified and shown on the drawings.
