The City is undertaking the modernization and integration of the Specific Plans which constitute the Cypress Business Park and is seeking a qualified consultant to assist in this project. Currently the City has six Specific Plans which comprise the Business Parks of Cypress and consists of approximately 642 acres. With guidance from an advisory committee comprised of representatives from the Business Parks, the City would like to combine these Plans into one cohesive guiding document that: Clearly defines the goals of the Cypress Business Parks and preserves and promotes the established uses and businesses Establishes clear and uniform entitlement and permitting requirements and improves the Citys ability to regulate Business Park uses Generates economic development opportunities and ensures the Business Parks ongoing success Attracts clean and dynamic high wage employment Incorporates and balances input from the Business Park landowners, tenants, residents, and the City Provides the City and the Business Park landowners flexibility to respond to market trends Provides the City with consistent revenues with which to deliver services Promotes and incentivizes a diverse range of uses Through the built form, encourage uses which meet the goals of the Specific Plan For answers to questions regarding this RFP, interested parties may contact: Alicia Velasco, Planning Director The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
