Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Project is located on Whitney Avenue in the Borough and includes the installation of 675 feet of 15 Inch HDPE storm sewer, replacement of 4 storm inlets, installation of 6 new storm inlets, sanitary sewer spot repair, removal of existing storm sump pit, 12 ADA ramps, and associated pavement and surface restoration. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. All questions are to be submitted via electronically. Telephone inquiries are unacceptable. Prospective bidders shall refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Funding for this project has been provided by Pennsylvanias Commonwealth Financing Authority. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142). The Borough of Wilkinsburg reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough and to reject any or all proposals.
