The Halton District School Board is requesting suppliers responses to an RFSQ for Site Works (Paving) Contractor Vendor of Record. The HDSB, through the issuance of this Request for Supplier Qualification (RFSQ), is seeking qualified Site Works (Paving) contractors with the required credentials to submit the required documents to be considered for future projects at various HDSB properties as part of a Vendor of Record List (VOR), as required from time to time during the pre-qualification term. HDSB projects range in scope and size to any of the following, demolition, renovation, alterations, additions, major renovations and new construction of general Site Works (Paving), that include, but not limited to the following: - paving, concrete work - drainage - grading - excavation - construction and installation of septic tanks - driveways and other utilities - soil analysis - utility trenches - foundation systems preparation - field-installed work including terminal and connections, on-site utility connections, - egress paths(concrete) - parking lots, driveways and playgrounds - surveying - installation of artificial turf fields and play areas The HDSB is therefore seeking Site Works (Paving) contractors that have a minimum of 5 years experience working with school boards in advancing in whole or in part the aforementioned projects in their respective disciplines, and/or have transferable experience in working with other public or private sectors in advancing similar projects in size and scope. Planned projects will be tendered during the year; subject to necessary approvals. Projects may start at any time with the majority starting at the beginning of July and completed prior to August 31, annually. At the discretion of the HDSB, only those Contractors that have been Prequalified and added to the VOR (through this process) will be invited to participate in the subsequent competitive tender or quotation processes.
