Description

Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Skokomish Nation, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 7,230-square-foot municipal facility; for the addition of a 2,430-square-foot medical facility; for the demolition of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.

1. Public Safety Building The U.S. Dept. of Justice has approved the Tribes application for funding of a new permanent modular building approximately 4800 square feet. The building will be used as the primary location of the Skokomish Tribal Police, providing office and meeting space, storage for evidence, records and equipment, and other specialized areas. The proposed site for the building is located on Tribal Trust property, 19731 N. US Hwy 101, Skokomish, WA. A topographic survey of the site was completed in 2018. The site is currently undeveloped and has access to the Tribe's water and sewer utilities. The majority of the east half of the property is designated wetland. 2. Health Clinic Expansion This proposed project involves the construction of a second floor addition to the administrative section of the existing health clinic building. The existing administrative building was constructed in 2004 and consists of one single story approximately 2430 square feet. The expansion would provide for additional office and meeting areas. As-built drawings of the building are available. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. As of January 25, 2022, the due date and time has been confirmed with the owner.
