This project has been awarded. The project involves constructing drainage improvements at three separate sites in the Reservation that experience localized flooding during winter months. Salish Ct. /Reservation Rd intersection has severe flooding due to the fact that the drywell system for stormwater installed many years ago has failed. The proposed project involves constructing an 8" diameter overflow pipe from the drywell running across Reservation Rd to a natural drainage area. Agency Rd. /Tribal Center Rd intersection experiences localized flooding due to the fact that there in not any drainage structure to collect stormwater runoff. The proposed project involves constructing a catch basin at the intersection with an outflow pipe to an existing ditch. Potlatch Ct experiences localized flooding because the drainage ditch constructed years ago is now obstructed by vegetation. The proposed project involves clearing out and reconstructing the ditch to provide for positive unobstructed flow. Where applicable, work shall be performed and materials accepted in accordance with the current edition of the WSDOT Standard Specifications and WSDOT Standard Plans. A bid security is not required for this project.
