Renovation of a water / sewer project in Skokomish Nation, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project activities will require working with staff from the Skokomish Tribe Office of Community Development, Housing Department, Police Department, and Health Department. The Tribe anticipates the scope of work will include the following list of activities which are not necessarily in the order of occurrence and may not be all inclusive: The proposed site for the building is located on Tribal Trust property, 19731 N. US Hwy 101, Skokomish, WA. A topographic survey of the site was completed in 2018. The site is currently undeveloped and has access to the Tribe's water and sewer utilities. The majority of the east half of the property is designated wetland. 2. The existing administrative building was constructed in 2004 and consists of one single story approximately 2430 square feet. The expansion would provide for additional office and meeting areas. As-built drawings of the building are available. 1. Public Safety Building The U.S. Dept, of Justice has approved the Tribe's application for funding of a new permanent modular building approximately 4800 square feet.
