Site work and paving for a civil project in Superior, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The City of Superior is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the project on Barker's Island, Superior, Wisconsin. The work under this project shall consist of hard and softscape surface removals, earthwork/grading activities, and the installation of geocell pervious ramp, pervious pavers, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer catch basin, perforated drain pipe with outlet structures, concrete paving, porous asphalt, pavement marking, electrical site lighting, seed, rock mulch, native vegetation and associated landscaping as necessary to complete the work as described in the plans and specifications. This project is partially grant funded by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Fish Nation Fish and Wildlife Foundation through the Sustain Our Great Lakes program. Bid Bond 5% The City of Superior encourages the participation of women and minority owned businesses. The City of Superior reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, or to accept such bids, as in the opinion of the City, will be in its best interests. Deadline for questions will be moved to February 11, 2022 at 2:00PM. A final addenda will be issued February 8, 2022. Questions must be emailed to: darwinj@ci.superior.wi.us. "Notice to Proceed" from the Owner, work under this contract shall commence immediately and be completed by September 15, 2022.
