As of July 16, 2025, this project has been cancelled. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Superior, Wisconsin Environmental Services Division of Public Works is requesting qualifications from engineering design firms for sanitary sewer improvements in the East Second Street corridor from approximately 35th Avenue East to 25th Avenue East. This area has experienced significant wet weather inflows and is projected to experience increased periods of flow from the proposed Nemadji Trail Energy Center (NTEC) project, which warrants improvement to the sewer system. This project is slated for construction in 2024-2025 and may include partial funding through the Wisconsin DNR Clean Water State Revolving fund. This solicitation is a Qualification Based Selection in accordance with Federal Register 40 U.S.C. 1101 et seq. No fees or proposed costs shall be submitted. Submittal of cost information may disqualify a firm from consideration. All prospective bidders/respondents are hereby notified to contact only members of the City of Superior Staff as identified within the bidding documents. The City of Superior reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals, to waive irregularities, or to accept such bids/proposals, as in the opinion of the City, will be in its best interests.
