Renovation of a municipal facility in Barron, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
In general, the Public Works building is a 14,842 SF pre-cast concrete vehicle maintenance building. Bid Package (BP) #2 is being let at this time. This package consists of the flagpole, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, earthwork, asphalt paving and chain link fencing. The architectural and structural specification sections were previously bid and awarded. Reference section 00 23 00 Work Categories for further description of the work. Bid bond requirements are noted in section 00 23 00 Work Categories. Prevailing wages are not required. An informational pre-bid meeting with potential bidders will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, @ 8:00 a.m. by calling teleconference number 1-715-318-0497, Phone Conference ID: 105 192 486#. The Owner is considered a tax-exempt entity, therefore WI. Stat. 77.54(9m) will be utilized on this project.
