Renovation of a mixed-use development in Barron, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsins prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017 advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements All potential bidders must become certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on state construction projects with budgets over $50,000. In general, the work consists of: Installation of an outdoor heat recovery type air handling unit system to replace furnaces. Air conditioning will be provided by air cooled condensing unit. This project involves the installation of an outdoor heat recovery air handling unit to replace furnaces. New concrete pads will be provided for outdoor equipment. Electrical and temperature control work will be required for new equipment.
