Renovation of a parking garage in Barron, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
Sealed Bids will be received for a single prime contract for combined General Construction Work to include: Earthwork, Demolition, Concrete, Carpentry, Roofi ng, Doors & windows, Finishes, Mechanical and Electrical. Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided and in accordance with the documents included. Once submitted, bids shall remain fi rm and may not be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of the bid opening. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity and payment of Davis Bacon Wages not less than the minimum prevailing salaries and wages according to the Davis Bacon Act. Substantial completion of the project is to be within 150 days from the Notice to Proceed. 5% Bid Bond Required - Subject to forfeiture as liquidated damages. The Housing Authority of the City of Barron reserves the right to accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the Housing Authority and to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in any bid.
