Renovation of a fire / police facility in Benicia, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
***As of March 24, 2022. The Project has not yet been awarded. The Project is scheduled to be officially awarded on March 29,2022.*** Fire Station 2 and 81 Generator Replacements The estimated construction contract cost (Base bid) is $615,000. The project includes the removal and replacement of the existing emergency backup generators. Includes the modification of existing equipment pad, electrical conductors and miscellaneous site work. Procurement of Bay Area Air Quality Permits also required. Technical questions regarding the contract documents should be directed in writing to the Capital Projects Management Division at James.Langston@pw.cccounty.us. All questions must be received no later than 3:30PM on February 14th, 2022. The prime contractor for this project shall hold a valid Class B General Building Contractor license. Each bid shall be made on the bid form issued with the specifications, and must be accompanied by bid security in the form of cash, a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of the ten percent (10%) of the base bid amount, made payable to "The County of Contra Costa". The said Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any portion of any bid and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received.
