he City of Benicia (City) Public Works Department is requesting proposals from qualified companies for annual leak detection services of not to exceed 160 miles of water distribution mains during fiscal years 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25 and on-call leak detection services for the raw water transmission line and water utilities at the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants for the same timeframe. The selected proposer will enter into a contract to perform all services outlined in the attached "Scope of Work." The Contract may be renewed for two additional fiscal years (for a maximum of five total fiscal years) based on mutual agreement by the City and Consultant. Throughout the City in public right-of-way above water distribution lines, as well as the City's raw water transmission infrastructure, and water utilities at the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants. The City reserves the right to cancel or reject all or a portion(s) of the proposal request without notice. Further, the City makes no representations that any agreement will be awarded to any organization submitting a proposal. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted in response to this request. Any changes to the proposal requirements will be made by written addendum.
