PURPOSE: The Virginia Department of Transportation, herein referred to as "VDOT," is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver a precast box culvert for Rte. 735 in Warren County which is within the VDOT Staunton District, an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, in accordance with the specifications contained herein QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS INVITATION FOR BID: Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be directed to Rebecca Smith Coburn at 540-332-9161 or email to Rebecca.Coburn@VDOT.Virginia.gov. The issuing office will determine whether any addenda should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall design, furnish and deliver one (1) box culvert, 12'-0" span x 5'- 0" height, one (1) line at 30'-0". Standard sections shall be 6'-0" long each section with male and female ends and zero degrees skew. Rubber or plastic plugs shall be included to close lifting holes in top slab after erection of box culvert. No other configuration or extra charges will be allowed.
