Renovation of a water / sewer project in Billerica, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

This Project includes furnish and install 1 vertical turbine pump and 2 spare vertical turbine pumps, furnish and install 1 new magnetic flow meter and 1 spare magnetic flow meter, minor piping modifications; and all materials and equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work. The Work shall be substantially complete within 180 calendar days from the commencement of Contract Time and completed and ready for final payment within 195 calendar days from the commencement of Contract Time. The Project being bid is subject to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M and prevailing wage rates as issued by the Director of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, Department of Labor Standards under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive, as amended, apply to this Project. A pre-Bid conference will not be held. Bidding Documents may be examined only by obtaining electronic copies due to restrictions as a result of COVID-19. Instructions for accessing the Bidding Documents will then be provided by email. The Work includes labor, material and equipment, services required for construction, testing, and commissioning of the Project in accordance with the Contract Documents and as more specifically described in the Specifications and Drawings and includes, but is not limited to, the following principal features. 1. Furnish and install 1 Floway Type F vertical turbine pump and 2 spare Floway Type F vertical turbine pumps (no substitution); 2. Furnish and install 1 new magnetic flow meter and 1 spare magnetic flow meter; 3. Minor piping modifications; and 4. all materials and equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work Instructions for accessing the Bidding Documents will then be provided by email.
