Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Lowville, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; service station / car wash facility; service station / car wash facility; parking garage; parking garage; parking garage; retail development; retail development; retail development; pre-engineered storage facility; pre-engineered storage facility; and pre-engineered storage facility.
All Questions shall be submitted to Patrick Currier by 3:00 on Friday 2/11/22. The project shall bid out as (5) prime contracts: General Construction, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire Protection. The scope includes: 1. Renovation to the Department of Social Services Building. 2. New Maintenance Shop (at the DSS site). 3. Renovations of the existing Highway Garage. 4. Replace the Cold Storage Building with a New Building. 5. New Highway -Main Garage. 6. New Vehicle Wash Building. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in the bidding.The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the proposal, and to reject any and all proposals. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Begin Construction Spring 2022 3. Project Substantial Completion July 31, 2023 4. Entire Project Completed and Closeout September 30, 2023 The proposed development will consist of a highway garage, a cold storage building and a wash bay at Site I (7362 East Road) and a maintenance shop and a board of election building at Site II (5274 Outer Stowe Street). CME understands that all buildings will be single-story without basement. According to Client, finish floor elevation of the highway garage, cold storage building and the wash bay (at Site I) is 808, 806 and 810 feet, respectively. The finish floor elevation of the maintenance shop and board of election building (at Site II) is 999.8 feet. Based on the limited and preliminary information provided by Client, it is CME's understanding that the highway garage and cold storage buildings will be steel framed structures with a concrete slab-ongrade floor. Maximum column loading will be 235 kips and maximum live loading on the floor slabs will be 250 psf. The wash bay, maintenance shop and board of election buildings will consist of load bearing walls with a concrete slab-on-grade floor. Maximum wall loading for these buildings is 500 plf (pounds per lineal feet).
