The purpose of this project is to upgrade our network infrastructure by modernizing aging core network hardware, extending current wireless access point licensing, expanding and maintaining our battery backup capacity to meet the power needs for our school network, and modernizing our wireless access points. Our wireless infrastructure has standardized on Meraki. Our core network infrastructure has standardized on HP/Aruba. This project is broken down into four separate sections: Section 1 - Network Switches (Aruba) and Transceivers Section 2 - Battery Backup Solutions Section 3 - Wireless Access Point Upgrades Section 1 - Network Switches (Aruba) and Transceivers This section includes the Ethernet switches to provide gigabit or faster PoE connectivity. Maximum of Twenty One (21) ARUBA CX 6100 48G PoE+ 4SFP+ (JL675A) 48 Port Switch, equivalent or better -Must include a minimum of four (4) SFP+ ports Maximum of Forty-two (42) multi-mode 10G SFP+ MMF 300m (J9150D), equivalent or better - Must be compatible with Aruba CX6100 48G PoE+ 4SFP+ (JL675A) 48 Port Switch, equivalent or better Section 2 - Battery Backup Solutions Project includes: Four (4) APC APCRBC118 replacement battery cartridges for Two (2) APC SMX120RMBP2U External Battery Packs, equivalent or better Three (3) APC SMX750C Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS), equivalent or better Section 3 - Wireless Access Point Upgrades Maximum of Thirty (30) Meraki MR-46, equivalent or better -Must be able to integrate within our existing Meraki network
