This project is located in Suisun City's west and east docks in the marina as shown in Attachment "A" - Location Map. The work to be performed, in general, consists of supplying all labor, materials, tools, equipment, implements and methods of process to complete the following work: Removing and replacing the existing 112 dock boxes, which are potable water points of connection. This includes disconnecting and reconnecting the potable water system and electric power in the new supplied dock boxes. This project has an accelerated timeline for the Contractor to perform this contract work. The sequence is as follows: The construction contract is anticipated to be brought in front of the City Council on February 15, 2022 to authorize the City Manager to enter into a construction contract with the Contractor. Moreover, the Notice of Award is anticipated to be overnighted to the Contractor on February 16, 2022, and the Contractor will have 10- calendar days to return the signed Contract with required Bonds and Insurance documents to the City. The pre-construction meeting is anticipated to be held on February 25, 2022 at City Hall, and at that time the Notice to Proceed will be issued to the Contractor. From the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, the Contractor shall diligently perform the necessary work to complete the Project by April 8, 2022. No questions will be accepted after 12:00 noon on Friday, January 28, 2022, unless subsequently modified by the City by addendum Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening. Any such inquiries or questions, submitted after bid opening, will not be treated as a bid protest. All proposals shall be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The City of Suisun City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any defects or informality in the bidding. the Engineers Estimate is $225,000. Punch List items be completed by June 17, 2022.
