The Project involves a remodel/addition of the Central Point Office (Facility 1) and the relocation of the co-located Springfield Area Command and Forensics Laboratory into two new and separate facilities (Facility 2 and Facility 3). The Site selection for Facility 2 and Facility 3 is underway in the Springfield area. OSP will either purchase one parcel to locate both Facility 2 and 3, or a separate parcel for each facility. Site selection is anticipated to occur between January and June 2022.
