As of September 1, 2022, a design firm has been selected for the project and is currently in the preliminary design/feasibility phase. A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Brookings South Dakota ("City") requests proposals for Architectural and Engineering ("AE") Services. AE to provide pre-schematic programming/planning, concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration services for the potential renovation of the existing Public Safety Facility, or potentially replacement of the current Public Safety Facility with a new ground up facility. Specific responsibilities are outlined in this Request for Proposal. All questions are due no later than 4:00 PM on Monday, February 7, 2022. Responses to the questions will be posted on Citys website. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
