Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Ordinance No 3126: The City of Fort Myers has established a MBE Ordinance for expenditures of construction, professional services, goods and other services. Minority Business Enterprise's (MBE's) are businesses who are certified by the State of Florida Office of Supplier Diversity and whose principal place of business is located within the boundaries of Lee County. Scope of work shall include, but not be limited to: The City of Fort Myers proposes to install a sanitary sewer liner inside of the 8' sanitary sewer gravity mains. The total length is approximately 14,824 ft. of 8-inch clay sewer main. There are roughly 262 service connections. This gives the contractor time to prepare questions prior to the meeting.
