The Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks to contract with a qualified Vendor(s) to furnish and deliver Methanol on an as needed basis for use at Lee County Utilities Department. All products shall be provided exactly as specified herein. Any variations shall not be accepted. Note: Virgin Methanol is the only type acceptable under this solicitation. Reclaimed Methanol is not acceptable. The County currently has a contract in place for such services set to expire 09/06/2022. The contract associated with this solicitation will therefore not become effective until 09/07/2022 or soon thereafter. Should the existing contract be terminated prior to its expiration date, the County reserves the right to enter into contract with the Vendor prior to 09/07/2022. Upon mutual written agreement of both parties, the parties may renew the Agreement, in whole or in part, for a renewal term or terms not to exceed the initial Agreement term of three (3) years. The increments of renewal shall be at the sole discretion of the County as deemed in its best interest. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor irregularity or technicality in the bids received. Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder(s) within the category chosen for basis of award.
