Additional amounts will be required for all increases or changes. Bid bonds, when required, shall be submitted with the bid in the amount specified in the detailed specifications. Bid bonds will be returned to unsuccessful Proposers. The District anticipates awarding a contract for three (3) years commencing upon Board approval or until new proposals are taken and awarded. The contract (or any portion thereof) has the option of being renewed for three (3) additional one (1) year periods, for a total duration not to exceed six (6) years, upon mutual agreement of both parties, under the same terms and conditions. The District, through its Department of Procurement Services, will, if considering renewal, request a letter of intent to renew from each awardee, prior to the end of the current contract period. The awardee will be notified when the recommendation has been acted upon by the District. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals in part or in whole, waive minor variations, informalities, irregularities, omissions or technicalities, request new proposals, and/or consider alternate proposals which meet the general specifications set forth.
