Renovation of a water / sewer project in Everett, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This scope of work consists of providing all labor, equipment, and materials to remove the failed portions of the existing coating (VR-6 System by Ameron Protective Coating Div.), which may contain lead, prepare interior steel of penstock per coating manufacturers instruction, and apply new coating to the prepared section of penstock at the DISTRICT P1 site. The approximate area of repair and coating is 10 feet length x 5 feet wide approximately 25-50 feet from tunnel entrance. The repair is in the interior of a potable water pipe and will have constant low flow of water in the belly of the pipe (2" or less (2-3 gmp)). All requests for clarification or additional information regarding this RFP must be submitted to the District via e-mail to bids@snopud.com. The District will not guarantee responses to questions received via other forms of communication (phone, voicemail, text, IM, etc.). Questions need to be submitted by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Answers will be posted no later than Monday, February 7, 2022.
