Renovation of a water / sewer project in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Remove, replace, and install PLC equipment, Auto Transfer Switch, Valve Motor Operators, and equipment and controls to automate the Waste Water Treatment Facility. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to successfully automate the Wastewater Treatment Facility, in its entirety as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein. B. Furnishing, constructing, installing, start-up and testing of the following systems, components, and appurtenances as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. C. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Removal of existing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) 2. Installation of new PLC's with re-installation of current input and output devices and installation of additional new input and output devices 3. Temperature monitoring 4. Water pressure monitoring 5. Adding buildings to the Ethernet/fiber network 6. Replacing existing effluent flow meter 7. Adding an effluent chlorine analyzer 8. Adding chlorine scales transmitter to monitor chlorine usage 9. Replacing existing chlorination control panel 10. Adding an Automatic Transfer Switch to connect to existing emergency generator and primary PMT-1 source 11. Addition of motorized gate operators and power breakers and controls for automation of flow to bypass stack filter and unpowered facilities in a power outage.
