Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work included in this Contract shall be in accordance with the plans, City of Manitowoc Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, current edition, Standard Specifications for Sewer and Water Construction in Wisconsin, current edition, the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction, current edition, Manitowoc Public Utilities Specifications for Watermain Construction (Appendix E), the provisions of instructions to Bidders and the following Special Provisions, and to the satisfaction of the Engineer. This Contract consists of the new construction of "River Point Phase 2" which includes the area south of River Point Drive, and an extension of River Point Drive and Buffalo. The construction work includes furnishing and installing sanitary sewers, storm sewers, watermain, building services (laterals), furnishing and installing fill or borrow material, grading, graveling, doweled concrete pavement with integral curb, a concrete driveway, concrete curbs, concrete sidewalks, pavement markings, a GreenBlue Stormwater System, asphalt trails, retaining walls, stairs, electrical, streetscape, waterfront improvements, a dock with pilings, dry-stacked stone block features, landscaping, lawn seeding, railings, floating islands, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract. Add alternates have been identified for additional dockage, floating islands, electrical work, and all other incidentals required to complete the work. Items included in the add alternate have been called out accordingly on the plans. The Contractor shall furnish all of the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supplies for completing all work included in this contract. A Bid Bond or Surety 2000 in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each proposal as a guaranty.
