Remove and replace HVAC Exhaust fans, make up air units and install a ventilation control system at the 1520 Dewey Street Water Distribution building. 1. The project is to upgrade the ventilation systems in the three garage/vehicle storage areas in the building. Areas include the front or south section, the mid-section, and the north or back section. The work entails the following: A. Natural gas line re-sizing B. Possible gas meter removal and replacement. Contractor to coordinate work / requirements with WPSC. WPSC to perform gas meter work. C. A single new control panel including three time clocks, one for each area, in the panel. D. CO/NO2 Sensors installed in each of the three areas. E. South Area i. Removal and replacement of a make-up air heater with additional ducting for heater and new exterior hood. ii. Removal and replacement of an existing exhaust fan and weather hood, with additional ducting. F. Mid and North Areas i. Removal of unit heaters. ii. Provide & install new make-up air units with ducting and external hoods. iii. Remove Gravity vent ducts through roof and replace with fans and larger ducts. It is expected, new larger roof cubing's will need to be provided to accommodate the larger ducts. iv. North area only, remove wall mounted exhaust fan, infill exterior wall to match existing structure. G. Alternate Mid and North Areas i. Alternate #1 north area, in lieu of make-up air units, provide weather hood, damper, ducting and 2 unit heaters per drawing. ii. Alternate #2 mid area, in lieu of make-up air units, provide weather hood, damper, ducting and 2 unit heaters per drawing.
