Replacement of numerous existing doors at the Manitowoc Lincoln Park Zoo, located at 1215 N. 8th Street Manitowoc, WI. Replacement will include removal and disposal of existing doors, frames, and hardware. Existing locksets, closers, and latch guards and associated hardware will be saved and given back to the City. New doors, locksets, closers, and associated hardware shall be installed to manufacturers specifications. All new locks shall be keyed to existing key specifications. All doors shall open in the same direction as existing doors unless otherwise noted. The Contractor shall furnish all of the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supplies for completing all work included in this Contract. The Contractor will be required to make a site visit prior to bidding to view site conditions and installation environment. All work included in this Contract shall be performed according to the plans, specifications, and to the satisfaction of the Project Manager. The Contractor will work with the City to develop an installation schedule to avoid events, facility rentals, and will work with zookeepers in sensitive locations where animals may be affected by work or work may be affected by animals. The Contractor shall use the bid quantities tab to break down price per opening to allow the City to delete openings from the contract if necessary in order to stay within budget. Following contract award, and prior to ordering materials, contractor will work with City to verify all opening sizes and hardware for proper function of doors.
