Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This Contract consists of miscellaneous modifications and improvements to the City of Manitowoc Downtown Streetscape along the north and south sides of both Maritime Drive between York St. and 10th St. and on York Street between 7th St. and 10th St. The project includes creating 28, 4'x6' flush tree-pits within the existing sidewalks, requiring the removal and disposal of concrete and other miscellaneous material, preparing plantings areas, installing 61 trees 2654 plants, including shrubs, perennials and grasses, as indicated on the provided landscaping plan as well as the installation of 27 tree guards. In addition, the project proposes painted crosswalks at the intersections of Buffalo and 10th Streets, Maritime Drive and 10th Street as well as 9th Street and Maritime Drive. The City of Manitowoc shall furnish all trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses and tree guards. A Bid Bond or Surety 2000 in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each proposal as a guaranty. Est.
