Site work for a water / sewer project in St Pete Bch, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
All questions pertaining to the terms and conditions or scope of work of this Request for Bid (RFB) must be sent in writing ( e-mail is acceptable) to the City Procurement Manager and shall be received no later than 10:00 AM EST on 6/ 23/ 2023. This work involves furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidental items necessary to Rehabilitate the Pass -A -Grille Seawall and rebuild the 17 Avenue Seawall for the City of St. Pete Beach, FL. This work may require the contractor to saw cut, excavate material, prepare and compact subgrade and base lifts, demo and replace and/ or rehabilitate the seawalls at each location, place and compact and dispose of any debris generated by the work. All work is to comply with the latest edition of the Pinellas County Standard Technical Specifications for Seawall and General Construction and the Pinellas County Standard Detail for Seawall construction, Excavation, and Restoration. If the work embraced by this Contract is not completed on or before the date set for completion or any extension thereof, the actual damages for the delay will be impossible to determine and in lieu thereof, the Contractor shall pay to the City fixed, agreed, and liquidated damages in the amount of either Five -Hundred Dollars ($ 500) per day for each calendar day of delay until the work is satisfactorily completed.
