Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Shoshoni, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; 2,520-square-foot retail development; retail development; 4,642-square-foot hospitality development; and hospitality development.

Demolition of five existing buildings and foundations at two properties within the Town limits. The properties are located at 503 W. 2nd Street (Shoshoni Motel) and 113 W. 2nd Street (Lip Rippers), Shoshoni, Wyoming. Building demolition at the Shoshoni Motel will include the host house/lobby building, L shaped building (guest facilities), and rectangular building (guest facilities) for an approximate total square footage of 4,642. A storage/garage building at the back of the property will remain. Building demolition at Lip Rippers will include the retail store and a farm utility/storage building for an approximate total square footage of 2,520. Construction at both properties will include building demolition, concrete foundation demolition, and transportation and disposal of demolition debris and waste at the Sand Draw Landfill, 743 Sand Draw Road, Riverton, WY 82501. These services and all other incidental work are as called for in the Project Manual for the TOWN OF SHOSHONI BUILDING DEMOLITION PROJECT. Disposal fees at the landfill will be billed directly to the Town by the Fremont County Solid Waste Disposal District. Asbestos and hazardous materials abatement has been completed at both properties per Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requirements. This project is funded in part by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Therefore, this project is subject to prevailing wages as determined by the Davis-Bacon Act, as well as other federal requirements. A pre-bid conference and site tour will not be held. However, bidders may visit the properties on their own accord and at their own risk prior to bid opening.
