As of August 10, 2022, this project is in the design phase. An architect and construction have been selected for the project. Construction for this project has commenced. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY will select a qualified architectural firm pursuant to Section 287.055 Florida Statutes and School Board Policies #7.71 and 7.71a, to provide design and construction administration services for a K-8 SCHOOL AT CLARK & LORRAINE. The project s scope of work shall include architectural services for a new 1,500 student station K-8 school including sitework, structures, amenities and appurtenances for a complete educational facility. It is the District s intent to utilize a prototype K-8 concept. Final programing decisions are in process with a focus on STEAM and Robotics. The estimated completion date is August 1, 2024. The preliminary total project budget is $85,000,000.00.
