Q & A deadline: Aug 03, 2022 5:00:00 PM EDT Bid Comments: The City of Sarasota Utilities Department (COSUD) Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 1850 12th Street Sarasota FL 34236, requests a quotation for the supply of four (4) vertical turbine pumps, motors, and steel bases for the Urban Reclaimed Pump Station as described and specified in this scope of work, technical specifications, and drawings. The manufacturer/supplier shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, testing, freight, insurances, submittals, warranties, and operation manuals. All work shall be in accordance with this scope of work and attachments. This scope of work includes: 1. Furnish four (4) new vertical turbine pumps, steel bases, motors, and all appurtenances as required for a complete installation. 2. Coordinate startup activities with Wastewater Plant Staff and Project Manager. 3. All material supplied under this scope of work shall conform to Additional Requirements: 1. The Manufacturer shall provide a one (1) year warranty to all equipment and materials installed under this contract. Warranties shall not be void due to improper receiving, handling, or installation of equipment. Warranty period commences at the time of COSUD acceptance of the equipment. 2. Receiving of Equipment: Receiving of equipment shall only be performed between the hours of 7:00am & 3:30pm. Upon arrival of equipment, items must be inspected for damage prior to offloading. COSUD Project Manager and staff shall be present to supervise off-loading of equipment to avoid any damage. 3. Receiving and off-loading of all equipment, will be the responsibility of the manufacturer or manufacturer's representative. COSUD personnel and equipment may assist in the offloading of equipment under the manufacturer representative's supervision. However, the COSUD assumes no liability for damage to any equipment during off-loading operations. All requests for COSUD assistance shall go through the COSUD Project Manager.
