Site work for a water / sewer project in Dillsboro, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project will be constructed as one contract consisting of: construction of approximately 5,000 L.F. +/- OF 6" PVC Water Main, 11,500 L.F.+/- of 12" PVC Water Main, 165 L.F. +/- of 6" PVC water main, valves, fittings, hydrants and service line replacements. In addition to these items of work there are other miscellaneous items of work necessary and as specified to make the Project complete. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the title of the Project, the name and address of Bidder and the Division of work. bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid must be submitted with each bid. Bid security shall be forfeited if a bid is withdrawn after the time and date set for receiving bids. Upon award of a contract but prior to the execution of a contract between the Town of Dillsboro, Indiana, and the Contractor, the Contractor shall provide one hundred percent (100%) performance and payment bonds guaranteeing faithful and proper performance of the work and materials, to be executed by an acceptable surety company. Any performance bond or labor and materials bond must remain in force for at least one (1) year beyond issuance of the Certificate of Substantial Completion.
