Site work, paving and renovation of a civil project in Marathon, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: The Work includes new screening, grit removal, influent pumps, Aero-mod treatment unit, blower and chemical building, UV disinfection system, effluent sewer, effluent outfall, SCADA facilities for sewer and water utilities, and water main; improvements to sludge pumping, sludge storage tanks, public works building sewer and drainage systems, and control building HVAC and mechanical system upgrades; and site and site roadway improvements. Bidders shall comply with federal wage rates. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Any Contract or Contracts to be awarded are expected to be funded in part by a loan from the Wisconsin Clean Water Fund. This procurement will be subject to regulations contained in Chapter NR 162, Wisconsin Administrative Code and appropriate State Statutes. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Women's and Minority owned businesses, are encouraged to submit Bids for this Project. Bidders must demonstrate positive efforts to utilize DBEs. This procurement will be subject to regulations contained in NR 162.09(3). Failure to comply could result in disqualification of Bidder and termination of financial assistance or other sanctions identified in NR 162.18 and NR 162.19. The Village of Marathon City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous.
