PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND BUDGET Building Name: Nye County School District Tonopah Elementary School Replacement Gross Building Area: Approximately 27,000 square feet General Project Description: This project will provide advance planning through construction documents to construct a new elementary school facility on 5 acres located on the existing Tonopah High School Site, in Tonopah Nevada. The facility may be one story in height, type IIB,VB construction and will house 100 students in Kindergarten through 5 grade. The approximate 5 ac. site shall house parking, drop off/pick up zones, playground and play fields appropriate for the use. The facility includes lighting, HVAC, life safety systems, plumbing, sanitary sewer system. The project includes the replacement of the existing parking lot to create a safe and secure drop off zone for both the elementary and high school students. THE PROJECT CONSISTS OF THE DESIGN, FABRICATION, DELIVERY, AND INSTALLATION OF A NEW 18,000 GSF MODULAR CLASSROOM AND ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING PLUS A NEW 4,500 GSF HIGH-VOLUME LONG-SPAN MODULAR BUILDING TO HOUSE THE MULTIPURPOSE SPACE.
