Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Carlton, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: Civil and Mechanical. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Install a new water service line to the Carlton Truck Station and adjacent truck station campus buildings. Waterline installation is by directional drilling. Connect to the various building supply lines and provide curb stops for each building. Provide insulation where pipe depth is less than 9'. 2. Install tracer wire system, tracer wire access boxes, and grounding anodes. 3. Replace portions of the sewer line that are within 10' horizontally of the waterline and where the water and sewer lines cross. New sewer is Sch 40 PVC with pressure rated fittings (no DWV). 4. Provide erosion control biologs adjacent to and downgradieant of all earth disturbing work. 5. Replace pavement and curb and gutter. 6. Obtain three new meters from the City and replace the two existing meters. The third meter is a new install. This project is TG/ED/VO Preference. The Work covered under this solicitation consists of labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary for installing a new water service line at the Carlton Truck Station
