Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District will receive sealed bids for construction of the project called: Big Gulch WWTF Dewatering System Replacement. The work includes removal and disposal of the existing biosolids dewatering belt press equipment and support frames and providing new support frames, receiving and installing the owner furnished equipment package (rotary dewatering press, flocculator, conveyors, polymer system and control panel), and providing all civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, controls, and incidental work for a complete and operable installation in accordance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans. The demolition and replacement Work shall be during a scheduled 3-week system outage beginning in July or August of 2022. All bidding and construction are to be performed in compliance with the Project Manual which includes Specifications, Contract Drawings and other Contract Documents for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the Acting General Manager, District Office, Mukilteo, Washington. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Contract Provisions. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or bid bond payable to the "Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid The three: lowest: bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after the day of bid opening. Financing of the Project has been provided by Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District, Washington. The Mukilteo Water & Wastewater District expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to Award the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interests of the District. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
