The City of Burlington requires up to two (2) experienced and qualified contractors to provide tree stump grinding services. Contractors must own, as of the time of their bid, equipment capable of grinding to a minimum depth of 61cm (24") in order to allow for future tree planting. This Tender will result in two (2) separate agreements, one per section (PART A - East and PART B - West). Bidders may bid on either one or both sections. Bidders bidding on both sections must have two (2) completely separate crews (inclusive of rehabilitation) and equipment and be capable of operating both agreements individually and simultaneously. Each agreement shall be for one (1) season, beginning as soon as possible after award through November 30, 2022, with up to four (4) optional seasonal renewals thereafter.
