Project 22-20 for which proposals are being sought includes the following approximate quantities: 25,050 SY New 9-Inch Doweled Concrete Pavement with Integral Curb 1,000 LF New 24 Inch Curb & Gutter (Slip Form) 550 SY 9-Inch Concrete Pavement Removals 410 SY Remove & Replace 9-Inch Concrete Pavement with Integral Curb 10,200 LF New 24 Inch Integral Curb & Gutter 590 SY New 4-inch Concrete Sidewalk 140 SY New 6-inch Concrete Sidewalk, Ramp, and Driveway 110 SY New 8-Inch Concrete Sidewalk and Driveway 800 TON Crushed Aggregate Base Course 22,600 LF Electrical Wiring 5,600 LF Conduit 16 EA Type 2 White Epoxy Arrows 24 EA Bike Lane Symbol & Arrow White Epoxy 1 EA White Epoxy Bike Land Ends 13,300 LF 4" Epoxy Pavement Markings 120 LF 8" Epoxy Pavement Markings 90 LF 12" Epoxy Pavement Markings Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of De Pere, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute a contract and furnish a contract bond as set forth in the General Conditions of the City of De Pere. In case the bidder fails to file such contract and bond, the amount of the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of De Pere as liquidated damages. The letting of the contract is subject to the provisions of the following Wisconsin Statutes: Section 62.15 regarding Public Works. Section 66.0901(3) regarding Prequalification of Contractor. Each bidder shall pre-qualify by submitting proof of responsibility on forms furnished by the Director of Public Works. Prospective bidders who have previously submitted such forms subsequent to January 1, 2022 will not be required to separately submit such form for this project. The City of De Pere reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding and to accept any proposal which the Common Council deems most favorable to the interest of the City of De Pere. The project shall be completed by September 30, 2022 The Contractor shall furnish all materials and all equipment and labor necessary, and perform all work shown on the drawings and described in the specifications for the project entitled Project 22-20 American Boulevard and Commerce Drive Concrete Paving, all in accordance with the requirements and provisions of the following documents, which are hereby made a part of this Contract:
