Separate sealed Bids for the Backbone Ridge-Phase IV/Edwards Ridge/Low Gap Water Line Replacement Project for the Dickenson County Public Service Authority which consists of the following: Contract I: The construction of approximately 9,300 linear feet (L.F.) of 4-inch, and 100 (L.F) of 2-inch; 35 service re-connections; and all associated appurtenances; Contract II: The construction of approximately 2,700 linear feet (L.F.) of 6-inch; 10 service re-connections and all associated appurtenances. Withdrawal of bids shall be according to procedure (i) of the Virginia Public Procurement Act and to the Code of Virginia Bids must be accompanied by Bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bidder must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia; Bidders are instructed to review the Code of Virginia, Title 54.1, Chapter 11, prior to bidding. This is a federally assisted project. Bidders and Contractors performing work under this advertisement are bound by the requirements of Presidents Executive Order 11246 as amended by Executive Order 11375; Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Section 109 of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended; Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968; the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986; the Davis-Bacon Act; the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act; the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act; and Public Law 100 202.
