Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Grimes, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of April 15, 2022, the project has been awarded and the general contractor is currently procuring materials, construction is expected to commence sometime between Summer and Fall, 2022. The WRA Grimes Connector - Contract 2 project includes the construction of approximately 14,903 linear feet of sanitary sewer installed in open cut, 12-inch to 48-inch diameter, 410 feet of 48-inch diameter sanitary sewer installed in trenchless construction, manholes, excavation and backfill, removal and replacement of PCC trail, steel sheeting and rip rap at channel crossings, erosion control, surface restoration and miscellaneous associated work necessary to complete the project. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
